Overview
A first Himalayan trek
you'll never outgrow.
Above Munsiyari — the town they call "Little Kashmir" — a forest trail climbs from Balanti Band through oak and rhododendron to a rolling alpine meadow at 3,500 m. From Khaliya Top, the wall of the high Himalaya runs unbroken: Panchachuli's five towers, Rajrambha, Hardeol, and Nanda Devi East.
It's roughly a 4–5 km climb each way — a proper mountain day that fit families and first-timers finish smiling. In winter it becomes Kumaon's friendliest snow trek, and our skiing camps use these very slopes.
Perfect on its own, and the ideal acclimatisation warm-up before Milam Glacier.
